TO TUCK OR NOT TO TUCK?
All about Tyrwhitt casual shirts, when to tuck them in, and when to leave them loose.
Our casual shirt fit
Inspired by the modern gent’s flexible wardrobe, we’ve given our casual shirts a revamp: shorter in length, trimmer in the body with less volume, and with slimmer sleeve openings. It adds up to a neat fit that couldn’t be more versatile, and shirts guaranteed to cut a sharp silhouette however you wear them.
Are you in or out?
The best thing about our casual shirts? They look just as dashing tucked or untucked. The fit and hemline mean your shirt is perfectly tidy untucked, but when you do tuck in there’s enough length that it won’t slip out the top of your trousers.
You can wear it tucked into chinos with a tie for a dressed-up work look; then when the evening arrives, just untuck and drop the tie. Or, if that ‘smart casual’ event turns out to veer more smart than you’d anticipated, just hastily tuck in and no one will be any the wiser.
