These Oxford shoes are made from the finest calf leather, a smooth and hard-wearing material, and include leather soles and welts too for a traditional, clean look. Brogue detailing adds a little panache to this smart shoe style, while a cork filler and part leather lining make them comfortable enough to walk in all day. To aid their longevity, the soles are Goodyear welted, allowing them to be repaired and resoled for years to come.

 • Upper: 100% calf leather
 • Hard wearing rubber heel
 • Sole: 100% leather sole
 • Italian leather
 • Goodyear Welted construction
 • Lining: leather and textile

You sent me scuffed up shoes in the wrong size. This is the second time that you sent me defective merchandise. I will never order from you again.

Needless to say, this is incredibly disappointing to hear and I'm truly sorry you have had such a bad experience on this occasion. We only ever look to provide customers with the best quality products and give great service, so it's most regrettable this was not the case here. I understand you did reach out to us by email and we offered to either replace or refund the shoes, but sadly have not heard back from you since the 11th September.
Please do let us know how you would like this to be resolved and I will ensure it is completed ASAP.

Great value, especially on sale. Can only compare them to Allen Edmonds, so take it for what it's worth.

The AE's are definitely a better quality leather, thicker and a bit more weight. I also like the fit/sole of the AE's more. Essentially you get what you pay for.

These are a very snug fit around the throat, and the sole isn't as cushioned as the AE's with cork soles. These are definitely thinner leather, though very decent quality and appear to hold their own. They tend to wrinkle quickly and much more apparent than the AE's; Where the AE's have a more rugged, less apparent creases, these wrinkles are more wide spread and noticeable, even with shoe trees.

The leather is a bit more sleek and shiny than the AE's as well, you can tell they are less porous and they don't readily absorb nearly as much conditioner/shine.

The only thing that might be an issue is an insole that seems to be placed in odd, where the seam sits below your mid-foot Taking the shoe off, your foot has a tendency to pull it up/out by rubbing against the seam a bit. It is easy enough to push back down but I wonder about the durability, assuming it was simply glued in (hard to tell). Even with these differences, they are still a great value.
